jcSKYhigh Posted March 1, 2008 Share Posted March 1, 2008 I was driving back from snowboarding and i was on the freeway going roughly 80mph. I turned on my cruise control. After 15 minutes the cruise control shut off by itself and the check engine light came on and the cruise control light was blinking on and off. I checked the codes and it says that the exhaust temp is high in bank 1 and 2. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
starla79 Posted March 2, 2008 Share Posted March 2, 2008 The cruise control will automatically disable itself if you throw a CEL. Time to take it in... as long as you have that CEL it will not let you use the cruise control. Had the exact same problem when the fuel injector started misfiring.
