flash_gordon Posted February 29, 2008 Share Posted February 29, 2008 Anyone run an 18" rim on the 2.5i? Is that size, lets say with a 225/40/18 to much wheel for the 2.5i? I know we don't have that much power but love to looks of the 18". I don't love them so much as to kill power. Just checking to see if anyone has done it. As to 18" wheel killing performance is not that big of a deal... anything above 23lbs would be consider heavy for 18" wheel, and it will affect your performance. I felt a big difference when getting rid of my 18x8 Rota that weighed 22lbs and upgrade to 17lbs 18x7.5 Enkeis... car felt "significantly" faster But people are running even 19" on their 2.5i. ○ ○ ○ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: ○ ○ ○ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
