Yebbey Posted February 29, 2008 Share Posted February 29, 2008 I've got about 46,000 miles on my car and had to replace the cv boot on the front passenger side. Has anyone else had this experience? Jim_KT Posted February 29, 2008 Share Posted February 29, 2008 I've read a few posts about people who have had to replace/repair their CV boot on the passenger side after they went stage2. Most stage2 setups get rid of some of the heat shields. Supposedly, the non-retained heat might cause premature failure of the CV boot. I've met one person who has had that happen to them.
