17" or 18" Rims on a Gen I or Gen II OB

Recommended Posts

Anybody done this? Any pictures? I've searched here, Nabisco, Subaruoutback.org, etc. with no luck. Trying to get an idea of which direction to go and need visuals. Yes, I've seen the nice STI Gen II swap. Not interested as I want to keep a decently high ride height and soft ride for the wifey (she hates the LGT with a passion ;) - "loud" and "uncomfortable").

:)

It's sad to say but if you want a good wifey car you may just want to leave it alone as long as she has no problem with the car. I know it probably goes against your nature but my advice would be to save yourself the money and headache and keep the wife happy.

As far as rims I believe the tires are the same radius as the +05' Outbacks so barring any big differences in offset or tire width any tire rim combos that work on the new outbacks should work on your's. Good luck.

The Ridiculousness is no more :( But you can have your very own piece of it. **The Ridiculous Part Out.** :D
