All SoA is saying is that if the customer wants to mod his Subaru, make him do it on his own. If the dealer installs a mod and the customer comes back to Subaru with a warranty claim, pursuant to the dealership agreement the dealer signed with SoA, any costs of the warranty claim relating to that mod (be it fixing the car, defending a lawsuit, whatever) will be on the dealer's dime, not SoA's.
