Possible Torco alternative.

So it seems that Torco has a back log of there product. Not wanting to order a 5 gallon jug plus hazmat fees I was looking for a good alternative. I've been told by a few STI guys running torco tunes that Nitrous Formula is just as efficient... 98-99% to be more specific.

I just order 4 10oz bottles of "Nitrous Formula" from need4speedpower.com. Mixtures are the same as Torco.

Here's a link to the to the stuff. Talking with the US vendor, he has done some testing and will update his web site in a few weeks.

Best thing is it's not flamable so it doesn't need a hazmat fee to ship. Shipping was $7 from the local US vendor. So if your looking for an alternative to Torco this might be a nice option.

I've been using Torco for 2 yrs now. I sell it. It works and so far has been extremely reliable. I would be hesitant to deviate from my known working remedy/maps at this point. However, for someone who doesn't rely on it like I do, might be worth trying out other additives. Keep us informed.

When I look at the need4speedpower Web site, all I see is Torco.

**Call the number on the website and talk to Brett. He'll fill you in and tell you everything he knows. He just started carrying it a few months ago. His website is going to be updated shortly.

seriously folks, if pump gas is not enough for you, then E85 is the way to go:

- cheaper than gas

- over 100 octane (allows for more aggressive timing)

- burns much cooler (allows for higher boost / lower air temperatures)

So, where do you get it, and what mods are required?
