Brandon-K Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Does the standard 2.5i with cloth seats have power seats? I am trying to find out if my seats are true LTD seats or an aftermarket re-wrap of the standard seats. I always assumed they were LTD seats, but my dealer told me that is unlikely because its usually cheaper to get aftermarket leather. Are there any specific marks I can look at to determine this? I really want to put heated seats in my car, and I've read that if they are LTD seats, its nothing more than a switch needed. If I were to take pictures, what's a good spot to take a picture of?
Mitch Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 The seat. If I'm going faster than you, Move Right.
Mr. Ed Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 well, i took my heated power passenger seat out last night.... i would say the determining factor would be the four wiring harness connectors under the seat it self.
laz Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 IIRC the Subaru cloth seats are not power. X ---
Brandon-K Posted February 14, 2008 Author Posted February 14, 2008 Thanks for the info. These seats seem very nice, and I was shocked to hear that they might just be re-wraps. I'll take some pictures today and try to post them tonight, just as reassurance. It's about 10 degrees outside and I don't have a garage, so taking them out to look at the connectors is really hard. The seat.Very helpful thanks.
Guest Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 IIRC the Subaru cloth seats are not power. X False. Non-limited Outback XT and non-limited 2.5i (except "base" model) have cloth power driver's seat. So does Legacy SE. Legacy 2.5i non-limited and GT non-limtied have manual seats.
laz Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 The correct question would be are both driver/passenger power seats. If they are both then they are the Limited GT seats. X ---
