absolutsnwbrdr
I wanted to disable the DRL on my 06 Limited so I went to pull the plug for the DRL's, and accidently pulled the wrong plug out. I started the car and the Check Engine light was on and the Cruise indicator is flashing. I turned the car off, climbed back underneath the dash plugged back in whatever I unplugged and found the correct plug. DRL's are off, but my check engine light is still on. Ideas? Jon Kanas
On either my '05 or '06 XT's, I can get the Cruise and Check Engine flashing by accidentally hitting the cruise button when starting the car. I'm not sure how I manage to do this, but I do it with some regularity. If I restart the car several times (5 or 10; I don't remember which) it resets the trouble code and everything returns to normal without losing the presets on the radio, climate etc.
