JayH Posted February 9, 2008 Share Posted February 9, 2008 Ok, so I got my '05 GT recently. Now it has the a PDE U/P, a Perrin D/P, and Borla exhaust. When I start it up I almost instantly get a smell of exhaust. Would this be indicative of a exhaust leak? I seem to be getting plenty of boost (stage 2 map). Of course when I am driving I don't smell it at all. Is it just the HVAC system sucking some exhaust in.....or? Also, maybe this is linked, or maybe it's normal. When I drive it at low rpms in the lower gears it sounds like a beater V8 in the engine compartment. The exhaust sounds great and I don't mind the sound at all, just making sure it isn't something weird. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
