I just got my '07 Legacy 2.0R an got inspired by the 660 cubby topic. I am using a Garmin Nuvi 760T. This model of garming has Bluetooth, FM transmitter, all European maps.

I'm from The Netherlands (West Europe) so I guess my car has a different spec than most of the people on this forum.

I asked my dealer what an extra cubby/ventsurround would cost me. He grabbed in a box and gave me one for free.

First I dismounted the cubby from the ventsurround.

I decided to use MDF for the navigation pannel. I'm using a cover from a winecrate for the sides.

I hacked the MDF and the winecrate wood and glued it together.

After I finished that I modified the clock print so It'l give me the - and switched +. I mounted an cigarette lighter connector to the -/switched+ from the clock.

I glued two extra blocks of MDF on the rear side to keep the Nuvi centered.

Drilled a hole for the bluetooth hands-free mic too.

I just gave it the first black layer of paint.

I would like to change the Garmin boot logo for a Subaru logo. Help on that one would be appreciated.

To be continued....
