peteh82
After installing HID and disabled by DRL by cutting blue wire with black stripe, CEL came on. I followed the direction from the forum carefully and everything went ok. After disabling DRL, I saw this green connector unplugged just dangling on the passenger seat side. It was on the floor towards the very front, where carpet gets tucked in (below the glove compartment). After connecting those and driving for awhile, the CEL came on. And when I unconnected it, the CEL went away. I was very puzzled and wondering what that Green connector is for. My car is pretty much stock besides the HID kit I have. Please chime in and help me out! Thanks.
badfish11
yeah those belong unplugged. I think they're for diagnostics only.
peteh82
Ok. I was just wondering why and how it triggered the CEL.
