rporter
I don't believe that you will find the springs to matter. On the street, better tires are a HUGE part of the equation, as well as driver technique. Those two items, IMHO,account for 95%+ of the car's responsiveness on the street. All of the 'gofast" suspension parts, in virtually all cases, will only produce differences that can be measured on a track. They can definitely alter the way the cars feels, but do not necessarily improve ultimate handling. And, in many cases, with poor tires and bad driving technique, can actually make the car perform WORSE. I have been a track instructor for newbies at some of our (non-Subaru) track events, and poor driving technique was the most common cause of poor car performance. As I tell people (in the SHO world) a professional driver in a bone-stock car will walk away from an inexperienced driver who has every suspension mod imaginable.
