whitetiger
you may have to trim the bumper and modify the muffler alittle to fit. PM Dplacen. He had a sti muffler on his 99' legacy gt.
Huffer
i am getting a axle back section from a 03 sti, can anyone give me any pointers on the install, like different size of pipes, can i joins the flanges or will i have to get a coupler and weld it together as one whole pipe, please help!!! Probably flange rotation and modify the hangers. That's basically it. A good muffler shop can do it in under an hour. Check out http://www.sl-i.net for others who've done it. subaru_terrence
i used to have a 06 sti muffler before I got my cobb muffler on my 02 legacy. The muffler shop has to make a new pipe, hangers and flange. Basically, you get to keep the sti muffler only and the rest of the parts are custom made. I have a pic of it http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o295/subaru_terrence/DSCN1786.jpg
