frostbite3360
My brother has a 2006 Saab 9-3 Turbo sedan. He just ordered a stage 4 turbo kit, so his stock turbo is going to be available to me. By the way, Saab replaced his turbo only a couple thousand miles ago, so its basically brand new. Is there anybody who knows if there is a way to make it work on my leggy?

Carter
Turbo swap threads on any forum are always interesting. I remember when I had my 300ZX NA the first thing I asked was "Can I add twin turbos to my Z?"
RangerMan
Sure it can be done. The guys on Top Gear turned a Reliant Robin into a space shuttle. I would expect any attempt to turbo your car with the 9-3 Turbo would have similar results. CTlegacy06
This is actually a very easy thing to do if you think about it. First get some industrial strength glue and apply directly to the turbo (NOT THE FOREHEAD)... then stick it ON (key word of the question) to your legacy and you are set to go. Allow to it to dry for a couple minutes and then take it for a spin! No one said anything about it working
laz
Would you recommend the epoxy type glue, or the instant dry glue? X ---
RangerMan
Would you recommend the epoxy type glue, or the instant dry glue? X Epoxy type. Instant glue won't do anything except make you look stupid. I would use JB Weld
laz
Ah I see, some JB Weld and just stick it where there is space! Gotcha! Since glue is cheap, I intend on going quad-turbo. I was lucky as well and was able to get this from a you-pull yard! X ---

laz
Oh you lost me on that one! So I need to buy some track time now? and get my average from the slips before tacking on the turbos? Would I also need an intercooler for this one, or will an ebay interfooler just do? it is really stretching my budget, and I want the most uuumph for the lootcakes!
