glgraham_2000
I just installed a set of Cobb lowering springs on my 2005 LGT last week. The front look great. However the back did not drop as much as I had hoped. I can get 2 fingers in the rear and only 1 in the front between the tire and the fenders. Is this normal? Also get a clanking sound when I go over speed bumps, small dips in the road and highway breaks in the road. Sounds like the springs are hitting each other when they compress. Anyone know how to fix this?
glgraham_2000
I found this ongoing thread about the clanking and the fix. So I will get that solved. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61164&highlight=spring+noise&page=5 Anyone have any ideas about the rear springs? Will they settle to look like the front? Or is that just the way they are suppose to be?
Spoonwacker
The Cobbs are supposed to drop 3/4" more in the front than the rear, so the difference may be normal. Maybe somebody who has them installed could chime in, though... sorry...this forum practically blows goat nuts so im not always on here.Team Pony Express POSTED FROM MY COMPUTER USING A WEB BROWSER
