SpawnGT Posted November 22, 2007 Share Posted November 22, 2007 hey guys my headunit had a problem the one that i had installed between the AC vents and it happened to be a broken screw that made the hole headuni basically come loose and the power plug getting yanked out of the harness....anyway no need for mindless info... on avo's website/rallitek there is an item that everyone is aware of called the 1DIN Center Facia http://www.rallitek.com/jdm1dcefa.html anyway...how does this ting mount between those two vents/in that space? is there mounting hardware? screw locations? anything ? please information and picture of the actual unit not installed would be very helpful Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
OGG Posted November 22, 2007 Share Posted November 22, 2007 There are two metal brackets that replace the plastic supports that need to be cut out behind the dashboard to fit the HU. They screw into what's left of the plastic and the side of the HU. They may need a little adjusting or shimming. The kit I got didn't quite fit right so I only used the bottom screws.
