How are you liking the 60D?

 

i love it. i'm still just using auto settings. i'm a total photo noob and haven't read any instructions yet. :lol: the action setting is great. we took a bunch of pics of the kids racing on the beach, running at us...looks pretty cool.

You'll master it before you know it!

 

I'd say move out of Auto and go into "P" once you get confortablw with that, the rest will be eazy-Peazy!

yeah Oceanside is not a good "big" swell beach to go to. There is just no real direction when it gets big and you get giant walls of wash that just beat the hell out of you. I went out once during a storm and got maybe 1/2 way out in about 20 minutes of paddling and duck diving over and over and over again.
