Blitz Damper SR

The Blitz guys in California seemed to think it was pretty good for the street. I asked if they were KYB dampers, and they suggested I might be right. (The four-way front/eight way rear is the same as KYB AGX and GAB shocks back to the beginning of time... xenonk, what are your comments based on? --Dan Mach V FastWRX.com

Well, a couple of my friends who use to own a few Supras had a set (of the SACHs Version). I wasnt sure if it was based of a KYB product (eventhough the GT already have KYB shocks as OEM parts for the US version, it's engraved/stamped on the shock body). Even just looking off from one of their pics, the shock adjustment knob is a same design as a KYB AGX would be. Also in the picture, this coilover is a 1-way height adjustable (for pre-loading the spring, NOT to be mistaken for ride height). The minor adjustments you can do are for pre-loading and possibly help corner-balance with a rough number. Because of the drop it gives generally over stock, the ride height was pretty much fixed to Blitz's design ride height.. The shock bodies are huge so it can get REALLY stiff with a few turns with the knob. Personally, I never rode a car with them. But I am sure you'll feel the difference from adjustment #1 to #2.. check the japanese site and translate it at your own leisurely time here: http://www.blitz.co.jp/products/suspension/damper-sr.htm http://www.blitz.co.jp/new-product/damper-sr.pdf Keefe
