AZZMAN
Hi all, Now that my 2006 Spec b. is a full stage II mod with short ram air intake I think it's time to upgrade the brakes. The stock brakes feel a bit weak bringing the car down to 70 from 130. I don't want to spend to much money here maybe $400 per wheel... maybe that budget is not realistic. Also I would like to go with some kind of color matched equipment. Do they make "brick red" colored brakes? I like the way the car rides but do the shorter springs made the ride harsher busier? any bottoming out? Thanks all... great board here I've gotten a lot of helpful info. PhilT
Spec B comes with RE070's, pretty good to start with. Pads and lines will make a huge difference. Double Award Winning Legacy GT Wagon

fweasel
Hawk HPS pads (front and rear), a higher boiling temp brake fluid, and SS lines if you'd like a little more direct feel in the actual brake pedal. Springs will harshen the ride... but that's subjective and everyone has their own idea on what is too much or just fine. Either dive right in and try for yourself, or get a ride in another car for some comparison shopping. ignore him, he'll go away.
