rayeve
Hi to all, I recently installed a couple of new front speaker in my 05 GT (they were Infinity Model: REF6022I). However, this weekend I noticed the front speakers were no longer working. (The rears are okay). This includes not only the ones in the front doors, but also the ones in the window posts. Anyone have any theories on what might have caused this? I don't want to open the doors up if the problem is just a plug on the back of the radio, or if the amp section (stock) itself has somehow failed. All suggestions gratefully appreciated. OGG
Check the obvious first. Did you accidentally fade it to the rear?

rayeve
I checked the fader -- and everything else in sight. No joy there. Ray
Meltdown07
Might be a wiring problem, subaru harness colors aren't industry standard colors, they use a messed up color scheme. Did you rewire up the window post ones too? Because those typically feel off the OEM speakers. Go Cardinals!
rayeve
But that may be a helpful comment. I thought if the doorpost speakers were on separate wiring from the door speakers then the problem had to be near the amp/radio. But if they feed off the door speakers, then it could easily be an issue inside the doors themselves. Thanks.
gfxdave99
You would be wise to invest in a $10 voltmeter from radio shack If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough. - Mario Andretti
