chucktoo
This is my ECUtek Delta Dash Display in the my dash cubbie. Some displays are real time values of engine paramters that you can program what is displayed. Other are of a single parameter with it's current and peak value. You can easilly reset peak values. I really like tihs - it is in keeping with my stealth goals for the car. KTR did all the work fitting it into my dash - a great job. http://www.ecutek.com/products/dashdisplay/ More pictures next post

Cutback99
Nice... how much does the unit cost and how much was the installation? Could you wait while they installed it or did you have to leave it? Tx
chucktoo
This was part of a bunch of modification I just made. You need to be using ECUtek engine management - $650 - display $650 custom KTR installation $262 to use the monitor if purchased from ECUtek. The monitor is made by PSI3 . http://www.psi3.co.uk/index2.html You maybe able to buy it from them directly and bypass ECUtek completely. Mine was a custom install so it took a while to get a new faceplate. I expect if more were desired KTR could get the parts ahead of time . The first one is always the worst. I really love this display everything you want to know about engine status and totally stealth. Charlie
Kevskate99
What kind of question is that? Wait while they install it? People shouldn't wait for their cars especially if they want their install to come out nice. Always leave your car, then they don't rush it and screw it up. Anyways, nice install. I'm still gonna wait if I can get the JDM screen with nav and gauges and such.
05USdmGTgUy
So where are the 4 buttons that should be there to play w/ parameters? Did you have to hack the peice up , and put the buttons somewhere else? Mike....

chucktoo
There are two rocker switches mounted on the floor of the cubby - they work very well and can be eaisly found by feel. It really is a nice well thought out custom install.

If I raced my car then I could probably use it. You plan on doing anything else to the car?
John M
You can buy the "bring your own laptop" version of the EcuTek logging software for around $400.
chucktoo
In my case it is major power upgrades - you name it we are doing it - 2.8l long block - TMIC - several turbo itterations - all new plumbing header - up pipe - down pipe - mid pipe - exhaust- fuel injecotrs - fuel pump and water injection - the works. I have the laptop version when I want to do data logging but for everyday it is the dash display. The cost of having good engine monitoring and diagnostics are lost in all the rest of the mods and well worth the investment.

Charlie
you actually do not need an ECUTek flash to use this display unit... so the cost would be $650 for the unit and the time and materials for the install... and the faceplate was made in house by us, we just had to find a good scratch resistant acrylic to use so that it would last. Blaze
Nice install. I was wondering when I would see a stealthy install like this in the cubby hole.
myst1k010
How about looking into this- http://www.blitz-na.com/Blitz_RMonitor_Rvit.htm and http://www.blitz-na.com/Blitz_Boost_Sbc_id.htm
franz
the ECUTek/psi3 display lets you have access to many more parameters than the Blitz unit (MAF g/s, AF corr, oil pressure and temp (with optional sensors), knock correction, timing advance (and advance multiplier on non 2.5T engines))... it offers a lot more useful information on the running status of your Subaru.
