SlightlyEvil Posted October 10, 2007 Share Posted October 10, 2007 Maybe loose heat-shield or a bolt backed off? None of the (many) leaks I had ever 'rattled'. If you have replaced the up-pipe or removed the sensor in the manifold pipe that mates to the up-pipe check the bolts in those bungs and make sure they're still tightened down. Mine made a brief (1 second) rattle before falling out once. Can you tell where the sound is coming from behind the dash? Passenger well? behind glove box?
