Torque specs for winter wheels

I have a 2006 Legacy GT Sedan.

It's that time of the year and I am ready to switch out the Goodyear F1 GS D3s to the Nokian WRs that are mounted on 17x7 Shuk W22 SATPL wheels. I recently bought a torque wrench after understanding the dangers of over/uneven torquing and would like to know the specs for the Shuk W22 wheels.

The manual for the wheel (which is an ASA manual) says the following

1. For thread size 12mm 67 ft-lb.

2. For thread size 14mm 96 ft-lb.

The current summer tires (Goodyears) are mounted on stock wheel/rims. So here are my questions.

1. I am not clear about the ASA manual that came with the SHuk wheels. Do the ASA manual specs hold true for the Shuk wheels too? If so, are they because that the Shuk W22 are alloy wheels too? If not, where do I find the right specs for the Shuk wheels that I have ( I will be calling tirerack tomorrow regardless to verify).

2. Secondly, should I go with the 12mm rating above or 14mm? WHat is the spec on the stock bolts?

Thanks,

-Jai

Stock is 80ftlbs....so split the difference and go with 80

over torqing is an issue with impact guns. They can overshoot and hit high 100's fairly easily. I wouldn't worry about overdoing it with a torque wrench.. keep it under 100
