Got my LGT (pics)

Recommended Posts

After 6 months of driving a '93 Ford Escort, because of some uninsured and unlicensed 16 year old bastard rear ending and totalling my Nissan SE-R, I finally got a new car. I bought it last week from a local dealer for $35 over invoice (according to edmunds.com). It is a Limited, satin white pearl, automatic, with auto dim/compass, and all-weather floor mats. I haven't had the chance to drive it around much because of the rain, but it will most likely see the Sierras and Lake Tahoe this coming weekend. My reasons why I like the car are obvious...let me summarize: turbo, mid-size sedan, AWD, interior quality, and its bang for the buck. To NITPICK, these are my complaints: window controls on the driver side requires your wrist to bend uncomfortably, arm rest extension is an option, can't turn on headlights without the key, unfoldable rear seats, no audio auxiliary input, CD player does not play MP3, weak brakes (this is already reserved for a different thread), and shallow trunk. Spotted!! On Saturday, I did a Hollywood Video run, and lo and behold, I park next to a Regal Blue Legacy LGT!! Prior to Saturday, I've only seen one other Legacy outside of the dealership. For the fun stuff...here are a couple of pics: A cool panoramic shot My dad sitting in the passenger side with his GaNgStA beanie on
Nice! I'm so jealous of you. Which dealer did you purchase from? I hope to also drive around Sacramento with my white LGT... :p I want to go to Tahoe; I'm jealous of that too! :( Stupid finals...
axis...if you're planning on buying soon, let me know so I can pm you which dealership I went through. Because I think that my experience with that particular dealership could've been better, I'm not going to give them free advertisement over an internet forum. Before buying, definitely email as much dealership as you can to find the best deal. Aaahhh...life after graduation. While I watch everybody else stress over finals, I get to drive around in my brand new Legacy!! Subie - thanks for your thoughts about the SE-R. That car was so much fun to drive, I'm thinking of getting another one as a daily driver.

No worries, myUsername. If I were to buy a new car, assuming my dad would let me, I'd be purchasing most likely at Irvine Subaru, just like Subietonic. But that won't be for a while, so I'll just keep waiting like a good boy...
