1122union
Anyone hear of fuel injection bleed down causing hydrolock? RK
meier motor sports
could happen on any car. if the injector sticks open it will pump the fuel into that cylinder or just ahead of the vlave and then it will dump in when you crank it it. either way. yeah its possible. pull the spark plugs out. turn the motor over by hand and see what comes out and see how it turns. hopefully no damage has resulted
1122union
I had noticed that the engine seemed to "hang" when I would try to start it and then it go on past that point and start for the last several days. This morning I stopped for coffee and when I tried to start the car, there was a large BANG right before the car started. The engine runs fine with no skips. Thanks, RK
meier motor sports
could be hydro locking. are you mechanically inclined? relieve fuel pressure when you park it one time. leave it as long as you need to. and hour or what ever is usual. try to start it. if you dont get a bang or hesitation then it could be a leaky injector. could also be a bad starter and the stater has a dead spot in it. 1122union
Looks like the BANG fixed the problem (no telling what other damage was caused however). It has worked fine ever since. To be on the safe side, I will order new injectors. RK

1122union
Point taken. After seeing the price of injectors, I agree with you. I thought they would be 30 or 40 bucks a piece. No more problems so far. RK
