Every other wash I prep with using Westley's whitewall cleaner. I kinda carried it over from when I used to own my GTO and I needed to keep the lettering clean. It's really corrosive so you need to mind your spraying, but it clears all sorts of grime and dirt off the tire. I think from my experience that this helps the gel last longer. Probably until you wash it again, or drive it in some heavy rain. qikslvr Posted September 21, 2007 Share Posted September 21, 2007 Not a fan of stuff that you spray on the tires... gets all over your wheels, etc... If you use the spray foam, just cut out a piece of cardboard in a circle to fit your rims and hold it up to the wheel when you spray.
