str8dwn
I am looking at buying a 1/2" thick, 24"x48" piece of Acrylite acrylic, and having it water jetted (sliced) into speaker spacers based on the WRX CAD template another user posted. His inner diameter was 5.5", I planned to enlarge that to 5.7" to accomodate the Quarts I plan to use. I can increase this slightly if your speaker requires a larger diameter. My initial layout looks to be able to fit 18 pcs out of the sheet of plexi. My goal is to help the community and not make a profit. I plan on keeping 8 of the pieces and bonding them together to make 4 - 1" thick spacers. I would divide the total cost among all 18 pieces. I'll be speaking with a local water jet company this week on costs. The acrylic sheet is only $87 + 20 shipping. If you're interested in this, shoot me a PM. Thanks. str8dwn
This is their 'accessories' page. Note the image on the page does not correspond to all of the radio buttons on the bottom. So, make sure to select 'Subaru Spacers'. They even include free shipping. http://www.allwheelengineering.com/basket/catalog.cgi?query_net_id=kartboy&query_class=KB-
