UniqueTII
Is there anyone else here that has the H&R springs on their '97 GT sedan? My girlfriend just got these and we were wondering if they were the right ones. They look like linear rate and she thought they were supposed to be progressive. The box gives the right part number. http://www.theoswegocarters.com/Kelly/DSC00530%20%28Medium%29.JPG
Jonathan
H&R Springs are indeed Linear. Eibach springs (if you can find them) are the rising rate "Progressive" springs. How much did she pay for them ?

Jonathan
Would they fit the 02 Legacy's, I have some one here selling but not sure it'll fitNo, these springs will not fit an '02 Legacy. BD series Legacys run the years '95-'99 in the US. Legacys between 2000 and '04 use a different suspension setup, as do the '05 through '08 Legacys. Kris_ktg
I got the exact same spring with KYB GR2 Struts. i installed the front first no problem marked with VA The problem is the rear one. I think its a bit short i dont even need to compress the spring and just put the top head and bolt it in. And the spring dont touch the top head about half inch. i ended up putting the stock spring back with the new strut since i wasnt quite sure. did it in a day(Sunday) need the car monday. My car is 99 Legacy GT and its my first time changing strut and spring is that just the way it is? or is it different on GT? if it is different is it thesame on front and just different on rear? thanks
