The Don
Not sure if it belongs here or in wheel/tire but... I just put on 18x7.5 with 225x40x18 tires...I have H tech lowering springs...and on the drivers side front tire is really close to(not sure what its called..but what holds the spring, a cone looking thing on the bottem) im thinking every big pothole i hit the tire will rub...is there anything i can do? the piece feels strong enough not to break but just wanna make sure.. o and its lower on the drivers side then pass. side...Could it be how the rim was put on? because i took it off and redid it..same result...Any advice will help thanks
bgLGT
If the "cone" is the lower coil bucket, then you're fine. The lower coil bucket is going to move up with the wheel as the suspension compresses. Get somebody to pull it over a speed bump or small curb (bottom of a driveway) slowly so you can see how this works in action. HTH
