carrata
Does any one know if the oem nav has the ability to display one way streets? I was using my GPS today as a map, trying to navigate through Toronto city traffic, but kept coming up to one-way streets that were not indicated on the map. I know the information is in there, cause if you input a destination, it wont have you going up a one way...at least not that i've seen on this software. So is there any way to display the one ways? Like an arrow on my previous (external) Navman GPS? Thanks!

carrata
its not stupid. but people are. Not really sure what that's supposed to mean....... Just to clarify, I have the version 2.0 DVD and if I don't input a destination, the map doesn't indicate which streets are one way streets. Like a paper map does with simple arrows. is it possible that the maps for Canada don't have that level of detail>?
rallysquirrel
I was in NYC last week and it didn't show me with arrows which are 1-way streets, although it knows and navigates you accordingly.
carrata
Thanks for your post rallysquirrel. Glad to know that I'm not crazy. Are all the major metropolitan maps like this? Anyone else notice this in their cities? It's kinda frustrating to have this awesome real-time map, that has such a low level of detail. Especially with cities that have many, many one way streets. It's not like i'm asking for a boost guage or anything!
