Detailing Service Recommendations...

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm looking for personal recommendations on where to get my ride fully detailed.

I'm trying not to spend over 180$. Anywhere in the Boston or greater Boston area would be sweet. If anyone can send me to a place where I can get a discount based on your connection would be even better.

Thanks

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking about getting the Ultimate Detail for $200.

Includes:

Exterior

High pressure power wash with High end bubble bath x2 (once again after clay)

Full clay paint/windows/wheels

Full engine steam pressure wash and dressed plastics

1-2 step rotary machine with the highest end polishes

2-3 coats of the longest lasting sealant

Wheel wells cleaned dressed protected

All metal hand polished and all plastics dressed

Machine polished plastics (such as headlights/taillights)

Glass cleaned and machine polished all hard water and spotting out of it

Wheels Washed/Clayed/Sealed with wheel sealant/Tire shine applied

Muffler Washed and Polished with metal polish

Meguiar’s interior scent

Interior

Clean and treat all surfaces (leather/vinyl/plastic)

Doors jams cleaned and then sealed to repel

All glass and mirrors cleaned

Dash cleaned and protected

Vacuum and Shampoo interior

Vents and inner jambs cleaned

Hows that for $200? Anyone think thats a good deal or getting ripped off?

I think It's a great deal. A place down the street charges $250 for that service and..i dont want sound mean..but all of the workers there do not look very educated. I would rather go to someone who knows what he is doing and pay a little extra or drive a little further to get there.

He sounded very knowledgeable and that is the main reason I will be using him very soon (my car was just repainted so I need to wait a little bit before doing anything).

enough zip ties and duct tape will fix anything.

Why don't you buy a kit, and do it yourself? for 200 bucks, I could get a porter cable polisher, with all pads/polishes/sealants/MF towels/etc, and be able to do that once a month.

I dunno...maybe some are DIY's and others are not. But, seems like you are getting a good deal, for 200...though, I am sure you will figure that out, once the car is done.

Good luck.
