elGT
OK so the brakes have always s*cked on my 05 LGT wagon, but recently the car shudders really bad when I am braking on the highway, speeds above about 75 mph. It is not so long since my last service, and they were supposed to have checked brakes, etc. Any idea why it would shudder--is this the shuddering folks are always talking about? XiiiXiii
Have you gotten new tires? Curbed a rim real bad? Cars with poorly balanced rims will also have the shakes when braking at high speeds.
mattg
mileage? it's most likely warped rotors or pad transfer. if it was a bad wheel or tire it would happen all the time, not only during braking.
