SPT Exhaust on LGT Wagon

I have 1 hi-flow cat in the DP, so not as load as it could be.

On a scale of 1-10, stock is 2, Hogzawst was 3-4, mine is now 5-6(perfect)

Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!

Not too sure, but I don't have SPT engraved on the tips. Was told that meant v2? Price was right.......

From the pictures I've seen, those look like v1. On v2 the tips are more centered in the muffler can, whereas these are more toward the bottom of the muffler can (if you know what I mean).

unclemat - Where did you get this info? Got pics?

Cheers!

BUMP.

:)

Sorry to do so with an older thread, but there's no sense creating a new one...

I'm seriously considering an LGT wagon, and of course am exhaust shopping. There's a couple I like, but so far I really like the sound of the SPT system. However, of course on http://spt.subaru.com it's listed only for the sedan.

So I found this thread, and SubiGT's pics:

My question is this: It seems the best way to fit this to a wagon, is to extend the piping before the muffler by a few inches. Correct?

Conversely, in this thread, Evilleg has a GReddy SP2 exhaust installed on his sedan:

And they're equally too long.

The thing is, though.... If the piping is extended, would the hangars/mounts not line up correctly? That would be my thought. In that case, as DogLeggGT said, longer tips would be easier, and the proper thing to do.

Thanks. :)

Okay cool. I didn't know if the muffler canister was also a little longer or anything, or perhaps some other factor that might've been important.

A new tip shouldn't be an issue. It'll just be really looooooooooooooong. :D
