tsyGT Posted November 19, 2004 Share Posted November 19, 2004 yesterday as I was driving home. By the time I got to the side my sidewalls were see through! I found the only good thing about these RE-92s is the rim protectors- not a scratch on my rims. Anyway, had the remaining tires swapped out for some Proxxes 4s. Much better tires in every possible way. They seem wider than the RE-92s also. Makes me almost glad I got a flat. :) The tire store actually gave me some credit for the 3 good RE-92s. Not a lot, but I didn't want them anyway. ;) Now I have all winter to decide on what kind and size summer tires I want! tom tom Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Rimfaxe Posted November 20, 2004 Share Posted November 20, 2004 I had a similar thing happen. I nicked the sidewall in a parking lot and replaced all four with Proxes.
