Strabismo
Title says it all. I've found some threads where one or two things have been said about it but no real discussion. And is it just worth it to go 235 over 225? The wheel has 49mm offset BTW.
fweasel
I think it depends on the suspension and the loads in your car. I've got 18x8 +46 wheels on a sedan with Tokicos/Ions... 235's rubbed in the rear with stock shocks and Ion springs. When I upgraded to Tokico's, there was more clearance, less rubbing in the rear with everyday driving, but too close for my tastes with a fully loaded car. I went with 225/40/18 and have had no problems at all including a long road trip with 4 adults and a trunk full of luggage and stereo equipment. ignore him, he'll go away. rurouni_x
235's would serve no benifit over 225's on a 7.5in rim just get a real good set of 225's and you'll be good
