DogLeggGT
Hey. I just had an up pipe and EL header installed and there's a raspy whine which is not steady - louder/softer, comes/goes - coming from the front of the car when on the throttle. I'll be taking it back to the installed to see what's up with the noise, but I'm interested in anyone who might be able to offer some ideas to take to my installer (whom is plenty experienced with Subie work). Thanks!
AWDxBOOST
probably a leak from the uppipe part to turbo do they have an integrated uppipe?
DogLeggGT
not an integrated up pipe. it's a BPM up pipe mated to a Perrin EL header. i hoped for a simple leak, but suprised that they didn't catch it. another possibility are some T-Clasps that (we think) are used to secure mated pipes on the header. maybe part of the clasp could be resonating? the clasps were kinda left over after installation and we looked at the header thinking "where do these go?" so we just put them on the most logical spot.
