Legacy2.5R Posted June 16, 2007 Share Posted June 16, 2007 Has anyone installed racing seats in their legacy? there is an airbag in the seat, so im hesitent to remove the stock seats, i dont want to lose something that could save my life. im just looking for a seat that will acually hold me in place when i autocross. any ideas? Xenonk Posted June 17, 2007 Share Posted June 17, 2007 Good luck about that one, you should look into getting a CG-Lock.. you come to realize that a proper seating position in the stock seat works just as well and you dont even need a CG-Lock anymore. spacejunkiehsv Posted June 17, 2007 Share Posted June 17, 2007 I made a poor man's CG lock at a few autocrosses. I just sat in the seat, locked the seatbelt like I normally would, pulled the belt extra snug, held the seatbelt latch in place on the belt while unlocking the seatbelt.... then I twisted the seatbelt around a few times and locked it again. It holds you down very well, and it's free. Those Ergomed E and ES seats are upwards of $2500 each. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
