JonR
I've got a set of 2002 WRX wheels and winter tires (16.5x6.5 205/55/16) I've used in the past. I'd like to know whether I can use them on the OBXT. I've read about them being usable on the Legacy 2.5i, but the OBXT manual suggests 215/60's on 16" wheels for winter. I'm wondering 1)will they clear the OBXT brakes (same as 2.5i?) and 2)is the aspect ratio/width going to cause problems? I searched but the majority of threads out there deal with larger wheels and not as many on OBXT's in general. Thanks
lekmedm
I'd like to know this, too. I am thinking of a separate set of winter wheels, and the 16" variety is more abundant and less expensive than the 17" kind. Will 16" wheels fit on a new generation OBXT? Scooby Fan
It should take about 3 minutes to jack it up and find out....they will not fit a Legacy GT on the front....OK on the back.
jazzymt
+1 Jack it up and try 'em out. I don't think the difference in diameter should be much of a problem, although it might look a little "gapish". Plus, the narrower tread is a good thing for winter. I think they will fit.
