jap_subarulvr Posted May 30, 2007 Share Posted May 30, 2007 Just purchased a slightly used (1140 miles) 05 OBXT. On the way home, the ABS and brake light came on. They said it had come on before for previous ower and they checked the tires. One was low, so they thought that was it. Also, my cruise control would not work when the ABS light is on. Then I remembered that the chirp for the door lock/unlock was disabled while I test drove this car and I like to have the chirp and enabled it after we bought it. Just after doing that, the ABS and brake light came on, during the drive home. (175 miles) So I stopped and disabled the chirp, and NO ABS OR BRAKE LIGHT! And the cruise was OK. Called the dealership and they are supposedly checking on this today, and getting back to me. Anyone out there know anything about this or anything similar? Does the disable/enable of the chirp override some other functions? I traded my 05 LGT for this and it didn't have any issues like this! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
