legacy2.5i
Hey I was wondering if I should go for 17 inch rims or 18 inch rims with my Tein S tech springs? Anybody have this done with either size and got pics...any input is appreciated. Thanks.
Effin Ponderous
Had em both...18's look better, 17's ride better.
whitetiger
diameter is not as crucial as width its nice to beable to run some nice wide tires.
Dazma
18 ftw They really do complete the look of the Legacy and are the perfect size for the car ... not to small ... not to big .... just right
nKoan
Its personal preference, but I'll probably won't run 18s again on my Legacy. Ride quality suffered, and I thought they looked goofy (specific to the wheel/suspension setup, nothing to do with 18s in general). Plus tires are more expensive. JonLGT
I would get 18s, they fit perfect IMO.
fweasel
I have noticed no ill effects in ride quality when I switched from OEM 17's and tires to aftermarket 18's and Eagle F1's. In fact, nothing but positives... ignore him, he'll go away.

peepshow
+48 or +50mm would be better, but +45 and 7.5" wide should work.
LittleBlueGT
I vote for performance, and how big a BBK looks under 17s. Full tune of 68HTA, KSTech 73 MAF, Racer X FMIC and ID1000s................by the DataLog Mafia!!!
legacy2.5i
+48 or +50mm would be better, but +45 and 7.5" wide should work. What kind of problems might I run into by running the +45 instead of the +48 or +50?
