Hubcentric Rings

Recommended Posts

Starting this thread because the wheels I want have a 72.62mm hub bore, and are therefore not hubcentric for the subaru's 56.1mm hub size. It's a given that you need hubcentric fitment for wheels, and either the wheel comes with the proper hub bore to fit your hub or you can buy (usually plastic) hubcentric rings that will center the wheel around your hub. http://www.1010tires.com/hubrings.asp lists the proper sized rings but are all hubcentric rings the same, or are there certain things to look for? i.e. is plastic ok, or should I buy aluminum rings? Any comments in general regarding hub rings?
