boostedsubbygt
would a perrin cai get better results than a k and n short ram? also would they produce that pressure release sound some of us love. my friend got a mazdaspeed 6 with a factory designed cai and gets that sound. little envy there maybe haha
PhilT
The Perrin will be louder than the K&N, but neither will do squat for performance. Double Award Winning Legacy GT Wagon
HansGT
I've heard the Perrin is very hard to tune. If you must have an aftermarket intake (which does basically nothing without a tune or supporting mods as the stock airbox is quite good) get an AEM or K&N. NOTE: please get a tune for the intake. Your car could risk not running the correct amount of fuel. Remember you have a turbo car....it's not like sticking an intake on a honda. Safest and best bet is just to get a drop in filter. K&D, Perrin or AVO. They all are under around $30-$50 and you'll get some of the intake sound you're looking for.
