red beast Posted May 7, 2007 Author Share Posted May 7, 2007 since the fronts show no sign of failure. my guess is that a combination of the mechanic pounding on the studs and weak bearings may be the culprit. since subarus wheel bearing are known not to be very robust i can see how they failed. only time will tell.
