More pics are absolutely necessary. I love the stock look of this. Don't change a thing. Hell, throw a stock airbox in there if you can! The fact that it looks like it could be factory makes this amazing.

At that time a whole air box assembly was out of my budget so I just put on the cone filter.. I don't know if the current owner switch it back to original yet.

wow. pure awesomeness! The best part is that it looks completely USDM. Tell us more about your car!

It looks stock but it still have bugs to work out when I had the car... need to find correct subframe for it... since a/c lines and other part is rubbing under hood back then.. again I don't know if the new owner address that issues. If I have a chance to do it again I would not swap a 2.0L USDM WRX motor in it... Not enough torque at the low end to pull such a heavy car. Everytime you have to beat the crap out of it to make it go fast. Would not mind trying a 2.5L current LGT turbo engine in it though.. BTW this generation of Legacy looks better than the current ones... In my opinion Subaru ruins their image and design language in North America these few yrs..

With a rebuilt USDM WRX engine

The problem now is that my girlfriend is afraid of the car, not only because of the sound but because of the power as well.

I agree with you about the low end torque. It is weak below 2500 RPM and at its best at 4000 RPM. Once you got used to it, it is OK. Anyway, it's much better overall than the standard 2.5 engine.

By the way the EJ25 atmo or turbo is much less reliable than the EJ20t. That is the reason why I made the move. I don't want to see an EJ25 under the hood of my BH anymore.
