One good thing, looks like it has the same turbo orientation as the Legacy, which should mean more options for us.

The autoblog post suggests that the guy who scanned them in is a plant from motortrend itself to try and drum up business

Ewww. While it would look better with some mods (need to lose that awful grill for sure), it is a disappointment. I agree with the people who feel that Subaru is trying to gain customers from Honda/Toyota at the expense of losing their current (enthusiast) customers.

Maybe Subaru is tired of having its a$$ handed to them by cars like the Ford Focus RS WRC's or the Citroen C4 WRC hatchbacks in Europe Championship Rallys. Thats the only thing I can think off

I love this comment when you click on the pictures on edmunds:

I've had a couple days to calm down and the only thing that really kills it is the grill. Too bad that's the first thing everyone sees.

Edmunds photoshop colored the pictures. They did the same thing with the M3 concept car by coloring it different than the silver color the press photos had.
