G.T.Subie
Are they going to fix it? Why was it towed? Denial is your best friend
BLACKonBLACK Limited
they shouldnt scratch the bumpers, the flat bed can tilt up to the area of 45*, and then slide in and out. So a good operator will tilt the bed the least amount then slide the bed out till it makes contact with the ground, making a less harsh angle. The Don
i hit a hugh rock on a highway couldnt avoid it bent 2 rims.. but when he flat bedded it it scratched both ends when he put it on..than when he droped it off he put wood blocks under it and the back didnt scratch..but the front....well the ivy leager didnt lower the front enough i guess and when the front tires went off the flat bed it lifted the front of the car up into the air...o i was pissed..anyway i was just wondering about other ppls experiences. Cuz i know most ppl have atleast springs to lower the car.

pillboy
I guess if I ever call for a tow, besides asking for a flat bed I have to ask for a competent operator too. It is still ugly.
Scotty
Haven't flat bedded the LGT, knock on wood. Any decent tow truck driver should have a bunch of wood blocks to use a ramps for getting on and off the flatbed. Most passenger cars will touch the bed if blocks aren't used to lessen the approach angle.
