odie1
Well after having my 05 XT Outback for 60 days and the temp tag was about to expire went to DMV to get the plates for the car. Well i pick out the new plates that are green and muli colored background which are considered personal plates, i was a little shock on the price of the plates $750. $25. of that was the personal plate, but i guess of this high fee was due to the taxable fees on the car nearly $28,000. Anyone else in Colo. have to pay a high price for license plates beside me? Still in Shock...
Trent Bates
I think I paid $658. Nex year it will be lower. The year after it will be lower still. etc. They always charge a lot on new cars. I've got an old car that they only charge $32 on.

Trent Bates
In comparison, I remember paying about $571 in 1998 for my first plates for my GTP. I wasn't too surprised at $658. Maybe it's becuase we bought an '03 Legacy previously and I had gotten used to the taxes.
