Longitude
Check it out. Great quality custom job (perforated leather with silver stitch, and my car is 5EAT btw), as seen at the following nasioc link http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=765760 I'm a happy camper and recommend their product. It's made and sent over here from Poland I think. My order took about a week to get to me. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b356/longusdinh/legalong/IMG_0669-640.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b356/longusdinh/legalong/IMG_0670-640.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b356/longusdinh/legalong/IMG_0672-640.jpg

05 llbean
Looks great. Is it very difficult to install the boot on the 5eat?
Longitude
Looks great. Is it very difficult to install the boot on the 5eat? For me teh difficult part was removing chrome trim around shifter, which I damaged badly. There are nicks and carvings on the panel around it too, but in pic nicely covered by the shift boot. Once trim removed, I just slowly pushed and tucked all edges down to minimize clumping of teh leather.
jigelow
What happens if you valet the car? How will someone else know if they are in drive, reverse, etc? Is there an indicator in the gauge cluster? I drove an auto once, so I'm honestly not sure, but seem to remember one.
Longitude
yea there's indicator on teh gauge. It doesn't take a genius to know how to put it in gear. I tested a few people I know already who are dunces with automobiles, successfully.

Longitude
I used no adhesives. But of course it's been installed only for a few days now. Yet hasn't come loose.
Sponge
That looks great i take it that is the Momo AT shifter/knob! Do they make it in taupe? My vB Gallery
Longitude
That looks great i take it that is the Momo AT shifter/knob! Do they make it in taupe? I don't think so. Here's my creative way of hiding all the nicks/scratches/cracks from removing the chrome trim. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b356/longusdinh/legalong/IMG_0723-640.jpg

Spoonwacker
Did you have to special order/ask them to change the height of the boot, or is that the standard height? It looks like the 5MT boots might have too much material for 5EATs, but maybe my eyes ain't too good... sorry...this forum practically blows goat nuts so im not always on here.Team Pony Express POSTED FROM MY COMPUTER USING A WEB BROWSER
