il collaudatore
For those who think GM has gotten soft with the Hummer... I give you the International CXT! Your eyes don’t deceive you. It’s a pickup truck. From International. Which makes it much more than a pickup truck. It’s an International®CXT – born out of the proven International 7300 severe service truck used by professionals for the most rugged applications. So you get all the attributes of a commercial truck – but you don’t need a commercial driver’s license to drive it.* The legendary International®DT 466 diesel engine provides up to 6 tons of hauling power.**The air-ride cab and seats provide an exceptionally smooth ride. And aspacious and well-appointed interior ensures automotive-like comfort and convenience. The result of more than a century of leadership in the truck market, the International CXT delivers performance. In a big way. *State restrictions may apply. Talk to your local motor vehicle department. **Tow hitch required at extra cost. Oh, it gets 8mpg and base price starts at $95,000. Here's the link to prove this is not some photochop. axis008
Holy moly! I wonder how the rear end looks. From the side it looks like a previous generation F-series Ford pickup. -ben
Bigred
We were discussing this abomination at work, while interesting, for that money I would rather drive a UniMog. Much more Versitile and field proven. Hmmmmm, still thinking

SBT
More information here: http://www.internationaldelivers.com/site_layout/severe/cxt.asp. I believe this is the same chassis that some of the upscale 5th wheel RVr's are using as their tow vehicle. Talk about hauling power. This thing has it in spades. Direct injection, 300 HP and 860 lb ft of torque at 2400 rpm. Engine speed limited to 2600 rpm. Not exactly my cup of tea. This would be more to my tastes and I'd certainly take it over an Hummer H2...http://www.jeep.com/autoshow/news/2004_01_05_jeep_rescue_45485.html?context=2004_01_05_wrangler_unlimited_86412&type=news_nav SBT - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -
