Filters come in many shapes and sizes and I'm sure some applications work better than others may. If it really worries you running a K&N, get an oil analysis done next oil change. I'd like to see the same on all high flow filters, dry and oiled type. i have a racing atv with 3 carbs that all have seperate filters. all of which have pre-filters! A must have on off road engines.
